Purchasing Art

Commissions:

Bronze sculpture is the artist’s sentimental choice for their visionary designs and an ever lasting choice for a tactile art piece. Economically for the artist, however, it means a heavy cost to bear before actual purchase.

The rising costs of bronze metal and other material such as latex and braising services has made the manufacture of bronze artwork prohibitive at this time for the artist. Carolyn will still be sculpting but offering her clay sculptures as potential bronze art to the public. The purchaser may contact the artist to commission one of these clay sculptures to be cast in bronze.

Commissioning Paintings:

There is also another choice for commissioning art work. A preferred piece by a buyer may not be available and another artwork within this theme may be desired. The artist does one of a kind art, but does at times do theme pieces that allow for a series of interesting variations. Carolyn will also be interested in painting commission work if deemed intriguing to the artist.

Frames:

Paintings and drawings are sold without frames or glass, for reasons of safety and shipping cost. Artwork will be shipped as matted artwork or stretched canvas and it is recommended that the buyer locate a reputable framer to complete the art using UV and acid free materials where applicable. A good framer will be able to recommend aesthetic finishing.
